MEET US

Ruthie is the heart and soul behind Return to Rest. Listening to her heart and following the Lord’s prompting is what has made Return to Rest the incredible blessing it is.

Ruthie is the owner of Ruth Eileen Photography. Her photography business began in 2010, and she focuses primarily on shooting weddings in the New England area. When she’s not behind the camera you can find her traveling with her worship leading husband, Chris, or snuggling up to a recent episode of Law and Order. Ruthie and Chris have been married for 10 years and welcomed their first child, Emerald in 2018. They are living life and doing ministry (church planters) in Boston and both have a heart for seeing the gospel brought to the Northeast.

Nancy is a believer, wife, mama, photographer, blogger, and speaker. She owns Nancy Ray Photography and leads a small team of wedding and family photographers. Nancy speaks regularly at several conferences and retreats, sharing her inspiration and foundations in building a successful business and a balanced life.

She is passionate about her faith in Jesus, financial stewardship, strong marriages, and seeing small businesses thrive for God’s kingdom. She lives and works in Raleigh, North Carolina with her husband, Will, daughter, Milly, and great dane, Winston.

Sarah is a loving wife, an enthusiastic dance teacher, and most importantly a devoted follower of Christ. Having grown up in New England, Sarah is passionate about seeing God's kingdom come in this region and His name be lifted high in worship throughout the world.

On an average day you could find Sarah at home either tinkering with her keyboard, meal-prepping, or choreographing exercises to teach to her students. In the evenings Sarah is nearly always at the dance studio running classes for young dancers. Sarah and her husband Dave have been married for one and a half years, and recently bought their first house in Berlin, MA. They both love to spend time in the great outdoors experiencing the awe and grandeur or God's creation.

Rachel lives just outside of Charlotte, North Carolina with her husband and four children. She fell in love with the kitchen as a young girl and remembers pretending to have her own television show while baking with friends in elementary school. Her love for cooking and baking has become a great outlet for her and a way to serve others.

Outside of the kitchen you will find Rachel busy with kids' activities as a homeschool mom and helping her husband, Tony, with his medical clinic. Or she might be chasing their crazy dog, Kash, through the yard. (or the neighbor's yard.) She loves gardening, searching for vintage bargains to add to her Etsy shop and reading. Her favorite book is Tuck Everlasting. Oh! And cooking. Did we mention cooking?
